Availight Accessibility Statement

Availight is designed to be clear, readable, and approachable, and we continue improving accessibility as the app, portal, and devices evolve.

Last updated: 2026-08-12

Our Commitment

Availight helps people understand availability without needing to interrupt. We want the app, setup portal, website, and support experience to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.

We aim to follow practical accessibility standards such as readable contrast, clear language, keyboard-friendly web forms, screen-reader labels, visible focus states, and touch targets that are easy to use.

Current Accessibility Features

  • The mobile app uses clear labels, large controls, loading feedback, and descriptive actions for common setup and status tasks.
  • The customer portal and public website use structured headings, readable layouts, descriptive links, and forms designed to work with keyboard navigation.
  • Status controls use text, color, and icons together so color is not the only cue.
  • Support workflows are written in plain language and include direct ways to contact Availight Support when extra help is needed.

Device Accessibility Notes

Availight Duo includes physical display devices, so some accessibility features depend on the Controller, Door Unit, room lighting, sound settings, and the user's phone settings.

The Controller and Door Unit use visual status colors and optional sounds. Users can adjust labels, Focus color, sound choices, volume, quiet hours, and connected-service behavior from the app or setup portal where supported.

Known Limitations

  • Some third-party sign-in, calendar, and operating-system permission screens are controlled by Apple, Google, Microsoft, or the device manufacturer.
  • Hardware displays do not provide the same screen-reader experience as the mobile app or web portal.
  • Some accessibility improvements may require firmware, app, or portal updates as Availight continues moving toward production readiness.

Request Help Or Share Feedback

If any part of Availight is difficult to see, hear, understand, navigate, or operate, please contact us. We welcome feedback and will use it to improve the product.

For accessibility help, email support@availight.com and include "Accessibility feedback" in the subject line. If you are asking about a specific Controller, include the room name and a short description of what was difficult to use.
